Riya enjoys exploring low-level systems at the intersection of hardware-software co-design and computer architecture. Her research focuses on developing heterogeneous systems for brain-inspired molecular memristor-based analog and digital processors aimed at energy-efficient training and inference of Artificial Intelligence models, ranging from ANNs and CNNs to Transformers.
Her mission is to discover new computing paradigms and architectures that advance the field of scientific and intelligent computing.
