Dr. Anwesha Mahapatra

Meet Anwesha, her research interests lie in molecular thin-film materials for memory-device applications, using in-situ techniques such as scanning probe microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and cryogenic measurement systems. She aims to probe nanoscale morphology, vibrational signatures and electrical behaviours of organic and hybrid films under realistic and low-temperature conditions. By combining high-resolution probes with spectroscopic analyses, she seeks to uncover the mechanisms governing switching, retention and degradation in thin films. Ultimately, she aspires to deepen the understanding of functional molecular materials and support the development of next-generation memory technologies.
